Gold Rush is is a self contained package for AS90336: Explain a Contemporary Geographic Issue.
It investigates the government’s proposal to allow the mining of minerals on schedule 4 conservation land in the Coromandel Peninsula. Students use the comprehensive full-colour resources to compare the viewpoints of a diverse range of people, from mining experts, politicians and environmental groups and decide on a suitable course of action for the future.
Purchasers can print as many copies as required for use in their school or have the students access them electronically. This assessment is ready for use in NCEA Level 2 Geography.
