MAKING TRACKS
Year 11 Describe aSPECTS OF A contemporary NZ geographic issue
Making Tracks is a self-contained assessment package for the new standard AS91012: Describe aspects of a contemporary New Zealand geographic issue. It is ready for use from 2011.
The assessment investigates the issue of vehicle access at one of our most iconic west coast locations - Muriwai Beach. Students use the comprehensive full-colour resources to compare the viewpoints of a diverse range of people, from off-road drivers to Forest and Bird advocates and council staff and evaluate several options to resolve the conflict.
Purchasers can print as many copies as required for use in their school or have the students access them electronically. This assessment is ready for use in NCEA Level 1 Geography.
